Founders, Owners, Teachers & Dancers of
Centro Cultural – Patras Tango Academia

Following their childhood memories combined with their studies at classical ballet, jazz, contemporary & Flamenco, started their endless journey, seeking for the knowledge and the stydying of Tango Argentino nine years ago.

Last four years, chose the way of ‘Tango Nuevo Argentino’, because it is more adapted to our era and our spiritual and internal needs. On this new way their as leaders were their Argentinian and world acclaimed teachers: Gustavo Naveira Y Giselle Anne, Fabian Salas Y Carolina Del Rivero, Sebastian Arce Y Mariana Montes, Mariano ‘Chicho’ Frumboli Y Eugenia Parilla, Pablo Villaraza Y Dana Frigoli etc..

After many years of studying and teaching in Greece and abroad alike (Argentina, France, Germany), established the ‘’Centro Cultural – Patras Tango Academia’’, so as to contribute to the evolution of Tango Argentino not only in the art of dancing but also in other shapes of arts, like theatre, literature, music, Fine Arts etc.

 

  • Performances in Athens, Patras, Thessaloniki, Rhodes Island, Germany, Portugal etc., mainly in cultural festivals, theatres, art places.

  • Members of Nacional Academia del Tango in Buenos Aires,
  • Founders of Academia Del Tango (Athens).
  • Honoured (presented with a medal) by the Argentinian Embassy for their contribution to the preservation and development of tango in Greece (December 2000)
  • Studying of J.L.Borges poetry, presenting of tango poetry at cultural events of municipalities in the Athens area.
  • Authors of articles about tango music and history for newspapers, magazines, websites.
  • Lectures for ‘The history of tango’ at the University of Athens.

 

 

Blaž Bertoncelj in Andreja Podlogar - BA Tango

Andreja Podlogar in Blaž Bertoncelj sta brez dvoma eden izmed najboljših in najbolj karizmatičnih plesnh parov v Evropi. V letu 1998 sta si priborila naslov Svetovnih prvakov v argentinskem tangu, pet let kasneje pa sta s svojim nastopom na V. Mednarodnem festivalu argentinskega tanga v Buenos Airesu navdušila argentinsko publiko in medije. S svojim plesom sta se predstavila tudi v ZDA, Kitajski, Hong Kongu, Turčiji, Franciji, Nemčiji, Italiji, Avstriji, Belgiji, Poljski, Srbiji, Hrvaški in Sloveniji.


Andreja in Blaž sta priznana tudi kot koreografa. Za koreografije v plesni predstavi `Tango Prohibido` sta prejela prestižno stanovsko nagrado Povodni mož.

  2. Nastop na 2. Beograjskem tango festivalu, september 2005

  3. Nastop s kvintetom Distango v Baltski Filharmoniji v Gdansk-u, 2004

  4. Nastop na V. Mednarodnem festivalu tanga v Buenos Airesu, marec 2003

  5. Kratek igrano-dokumentarni film TANGO -5, januar 2003

  6. Plesna predstava TANGO E-MOCION, prva multimedijska tango predstava; premierno uprizorjena oktobra 2002, v Prešernovem gledališču v Kranju

  7. Koreografije za dramo BENETKE, v režiji argentinskega režiserja Omarja Viale in produkciji Prešernovega gledališča Kranj

  8. Dobitnika stanovske nagrade Povodni mož kot koreografa

  9. Plesna predstava TANGO PROHIBIDO, premierno uprizorjena na Dubrovniškem festivalu 2001

  10. Naslov svetovnih prvakov (IDO World Championship) v Franciji, november 1998
